Another year has come and gone

We will leave our best friends to return to our best friends. We will go back to the places we came from and go back to the same things we did last summer and every summer before. We will come into town on that same familiar road, and even though it has been months it will seem like only yesterday.

As you walk into your old bedroom every emotion will pass through you as you reflect on the way your life has changed and the person you have become. You suddenly realize that the things that were most important to you a year ago don't seem to mater so much anymore. The things you hold highest now, no one from home will completely understand.

Then you realize how much things have changed, you realize the hardest part of college is balancing the two completely  different worlds you now live in, trying desperately to hold on to everything..all the while trying to figure out what you have to leave behind and also what you have to look forward to.

In the matter of one days traveling time I will leave the world I once knew. Leaving behind my roommates who were once complete strangers (besides Janae) who thankfully turned out to be amazing/ talented/ intelligent women and not psychotic hoe bags.

I'll miss all the familiar faces on campus and in the Late Nite office, planning Late Nites and working out to body by Jake with cans of corn. I've made TONS of unforgettable memories here at Ball State 2010-2011 but its time to set sail to a new adventure, a some what familiar adventure...

Will I be able to afford rent/food/bills

Where will I work

Who will I keep in touch with from Muncie

Who will I become friends with in Richmond

Which of my old friends will be waiting for my arrival

Will living with my boyfriend of three years work out for the best

Is this the right thing to do?

 Yes, this is the right thing to do. Its natural for me to be second guessing myself, of course I'm going to miss Ball State and all the people I've meet and become best friends with but this is what I need right now for myself. I need the warmth of my family- I miss their smiles I miss my moms bald head and baggy clothes, I miss snoop throwing a fit when my dad doesn't pay attention to him- I miss my grandma, Tylean, and Robbie. This year has truly shown me how quickly life can turn around.

Smile like you mean it

When ever I'm with this girl we seem to have a good time! I'll never forget our spontaneousness decision to get our medusas done, our girl dates and baking treats for a couple shows! Our boyfriends are five year olds when they're together so its nice to just have girl time :]

I went to my first Drag Show in Fort Wayne over break with Laynie at After Dark- I must say it was a blast! Dollars were being handed over like candy on Halloween! I almost felt like I was at a strip club especially when one of the girls came out with just her nipples covered-Hello lil Kim haha We danced our hearts out & sadly I didn't get hit on by any hott chicks-probably because those who were there thought Laynie was my ride or die chick ;]

All I had was my Samsung Rouge so the following pictures aren't the best.

I really didn't do much over Spring break- I went to Richmond, Oxford, Muncie, and Fort Wayne. Me Jenna, her brother and his friends went to Brick street in Oxford which was a decent time, saw some old friends and some bum ass dudes who still act the way they did in high school only now they have 4 kids lmlbo! I also hung out with Shelbs & bray! I stayed the night at her new apartment which is extremely homey i love it! We decided to put Bray in his tuxedo & OMG he looked so handsome-

Spending time with my mom was less stressful than usual-She's doing so much better now a days, shes in high spirits & is getting out of the house more-We've been to the mall, traders depo, and big lots over the past month. It's funny to think how little trips like this mean the world to me. 

Fort Wayne was amazing, I got to spend some much needed time with Mr. Bishyboo- I hung out at Starbucks with some old pals & got free drinks.

Seeing my handsome boyfriend was DABEST!- We watched movies, went to the mall, out to eat and relaxed! I miss sleeping in the same bed with him & waking up to him and Bishop cuddling haha its such a sight to see<3

Three more days until spring break! I went from going to Florida, to Chicago, now to Richmond...Yay!
I plan to make the best out of break and hangout with those I don't get to see very often! Last weekend was sweet since we celebrated my brothers 25th birthday and everyone came over to the house. Robs getting old!

By the end of the day he had thrown up & was knocked out in his bed.

Another exciting moment coming up is the three year anniversary of Zach and me!! It's unbelievable how fast time goes by. Sometimes its hard for my brain to grasp how long its been since certain things have happened..I'm often haunted by the past but I'm doing my best to sweep it under the rug. We've had our problems like any other couple but the main thing is we are still happy with one another and we keep each other going. But if he makes his ears any bigger I'm breaking up with him. :D just kidding..kinda.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO ME. <3 

I was able to spend a wonderful weekend with this handsome man ^ :]

&& Luckily for me, This was NOT my heart!

My weekend started off with a delicious lunch with an old friend, Alisha, then off to BINGO- flipping burgers and dropping fries :] Not a damn thing to complain about! I get paid $50 for 5 hours of work with people I've known half my life. After Bingo I stayed the night at my Grandmas, something I haven't done since I was probably 17. Corrie, Matt & Leona stayed as well. When my G-ma put Leona down to bed she kept crying and it made me sad so I went out to rescue her! The highlight of my night was rocking her to sleep and holding her against my chest keeping her safe and warm. She's one of the sweetest babies I've ever been around. 

That next morning I woke up to Corrie singing along with Leona's toy dog haha I thought she was a goofball for knowing all the words to the song but soon found out how addicting the song was. It's been stuck in my head half the weekend! After Corrie, Matt, and my Grandma left for Indy, to see my momma I stayed & babysat Leona until Debbie came to pick her up- It was the easiest babysitting job I've had in a while. All she did was play with her toys and say mama :) 

Off to Funcie I go. 


Since I'm an awesome girlfriend I told Zach he should stay in town and skate with his bud Cody... I went home did some homework, dyed my hair and took a shower..We weren't in the best of moods when he got here due to him getting lost on the way and me being stressed out but luckily the weekend took a turn for the better....


We lounged until it was time for our "Valentines Day" dinner. We headed to a local Country Italiano restaurant called Johnny Carinos that neither of us had ever ate at. It was phenomenal and our waiter was one of the nicest dudes..Zach tipped him $12 dollars if that tells you anything! After Dinner we stopped by Late Nite for 2.5 and then headed home, listened to some jams and lounged until we fell asleep. 


Sunday was a Sunnyday-


We got lunch at Scotties, where we both got sourdough turkey sandwiches and I also had a rootbeer float..my tummy started to hurt really bad so I went to get the car and when I came around to pick up Zach he had a JIMMY JOHNS PICKLE for me <33 He's a keeper. We stopped by a gas station and my sugga bugga got us some drinks ( cherry coke for him and Arizona tea for me)  He also rented Catfish at the Redbox which was a really good movie but wasn't what I expected it to be...I wont talk about it so I don't ruin it for those of you who have yet to see it. 


After the flick we decided to go to Wal-Mart but split up and buy valentines day gifts for each other..yeah I know we are dorks! Zach bought me a perty orange rose along with white rice, edamame, & soy sauce!

 I however printed out some pictures and made a cute card for him with a cookies-n-cream bar inside. I was going to make him heart shaped waffles with whipped cream but I forgot to buy cooking oil :[ So sad.

The whole weekend was amazing but I have to say laying in a hot bath with my man, while Jason Reeves plays on the I home and I sing along was a  moment I'll never forget. I wanted to freeze time and stay in that moment taking mental pictures of the way his eyes locked with mine. It was if he was thinking-damn this is my girlfriend & I wouldn't trade her -singing off key-Cindy Lou Who looking ass for anything :]

1. Work out 3-4 times a week- In progress- Body by Jake with kels- gym with josh- and University estates gym with the roomies :] Now Anytime fitness!
2. Volunteer within the community-I volunteer at Centerstone in Richmond, IN
3. Start Portfolio Working on it
4. Give a homeless person food
5. Cook a nice dinner for my man-candles included ;) birthday dinner 2012
6.Visit Josh & Sisilia in Chicago- We hungout in SAN FRAN so much better :) 2012
7. See City & Colour- Took Zach to see him in Cinci for his birthday!<3
8. Go to a Reds game
9 Visit L.A. again but take Zach for his first time<3
10 Study Abroad-Location undecided...I want to see the world.
11. Spend quality time with my family, listen to their stories & learn from them
12. MOVE OUT OF INDIANA


A lot of us get into our daily routines and before we know it our lives have passed us by. I don't ever want to regret NOT doing something. Some of these goals are silly I know and some may not be a big deal to others but I want to be able to say I've lived my life to the fullest. I know I should care more about a career and being able to support a family but whats the fun in having to pay a mortgage especially at this age. If I could take 6months off school and spend my loan money to travel or pursue other dreams I would do it in a heart beat but there is always the problem of letting my family down. Family is what holds me back. Money comes and money goes-I bet my mother never imagined shed be this sick and I often wonder about all the things she wishes she could do, or that she thought shed always have time to do.
When my time comes- Id like to say I've filled my bucket with some damn good memories with the people I'll never forget.

28th of January; The roomies and I went on a shopping trip to Indy so I took advantage of this trip and met up with my cousin Karlee..Catching up on our lives was stressful & relieving all in one. I miss her and plan to see her more once I get a new job and actually have money. After we hit the shops we went to Wendy's and then headed back to Muncie. On the way back I started to really miss Zach. I was going through with drawls after not seeing him for almost two weeks..Sooo I decided to drive up to Fort Wayne and visit him in hopes to raise his spirits after his car troubles. He was more than glad to see me :] 

I was on the phone with him as I was driving into his neighborhood and he had told me he was letting Bishop out to pee...I was pulling into the drive way at this point and Bishop comes dashing around the house completely passes my car and goes to the end of the driveway and looks around for me. I open my car door and as I'm yelling his name he darts to the car, jumps in my side, sits in the passenger seat & starts drowning me with sloppy kisses! It was the best! I missed him so much<3 The night was pretty laid back, I showed Zach some youtube videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUEhNnk7om0) <---If you aren't easily offended..Check it out..it's pretty funny :] 

After relaxing, talking and smooching, I laid down, went to sleep and he watched a movie..

29th of January; 

After sleeping in we got freshened up and then headed to apple bees for some grub. He's quite the gentlemen so of course he paid :] After lunch I was off to Muncie! 

My Late Nite event was Saturday...The theme was Late Nighty Nite and i'm PROUD to say everything went as planned. Nothing went wrong the whole night. Our attendance was 831people, a normal rate for the spring semester due to weather. The Detroit Science Center brought their star lab- made me feel like I was in middle school again sitting in the dome looking at the constellations! 

IHOP's pancakes were fantastic and the Crew was very nice and professional. Record-a-hit brought a photo booth, glitter tattoos, a pillow fight inflatable, and a basketball game. A lot of people were wearing their pajamas which was sweet and the DJ "dance party" was poppin from 11-1..I couldn't be more stoked on how it turned out. 

Now we are starting the planning process for the carnival that Ball State has every year at the end of the year. A lot goes into this- 

Sunday was an extremely lazy day considering we got done at 2a.m. and we started the set up at 6pm. I slept in and then did some studying. 

Monday(today)

• My day consisted of classes 8a.m.-Noon
• Home for lunch/ making doctor appointments & such
• Gym with Josh Brown-1hr
• Home before the winter storm arrived
• Watched Social Net Work & finally got to my blog update! 

Hoping my 9:30 class gets cancelled tomorrow!!

• This weekend was the weekend after Shelby's 21st! I got into town around 8pm and went straight to her house to see my God son Braylen :] He was a handsome chunky butt as usual. Once we got ready we decided to go to B.dubbs where we had a drink each. Then Troy came out to hangout and bought us both a bam bam shot, which taste like a Firecracker Popsicle- Hanging out with just us three was nice, Troy has been my friend since middle school & he's practically my brother-n-law now & Shelbs has been my girl since middle school! After B-dubbs troy went with his friends and me and Shelby decided to go to Pizza King. (exciting right? two restaurants in ONE night! ) After that I went home to rest my sleeepy head.

• I rented Despicable Me for my mom and I to watch..She loved it, Saturday was a great day for her. After the movie Candice, Kenny && I went to get Wheel Burgers! One of the pros Richmond has to offer lmao. These burgers are big and my mom almost ate the whole thing which is a sign her appetite is back :] Due to her lack of mobility the family comes to the house more and you can tell it gets her spirits up :]-(Corrie, Matt, Tylean, Robbie, Candice, Kenny, Uncle Ron, Debbie, Leona, Camille,dad)
• Shelby came over later that night then we went to Jenna's, took some pictures then picked up Troy and headed to Smilies to celebrate the birth of Shelby lol. I had a blast with my best gal friends! I got to enjoy myself and not babysit :] We danced & laughed, had some drinks and some of us even got our hair burnt by a floating cigg. I asked the DJ to give a shout out to shelbs, he did, but it was WEAK! he didn't even say happy birthday-but hey its the thought that counts right- through out the night I saw old friends, new faces and my BIG Sista! 

• Closing Time. After the bar closed it was my job to make sure everyone got home safely & that shelby had her car in the morning. This was a poorly executed plan, in fact we had discussed no such plan for the evening. I called my bud Derek to see if he'd want to help me get my car that way when I dropped Shelby's off at her final destination I wouldn't have to walk back home. Being the good guy he is, he obliged even though it was 4:30am. Once we got my car we hit up Steak-N-Shake and got our grub on!

• I woke up way to early for having went to bed at 5a.m. but it is what it is, I was off to El Ro with Jenna Jo to enjoy some bomb food and recap on the night.  After our $3.75 chicken and cheese quesadilla plus free chips and salsa meal, I headed over to my G-mas.Once I was there I said my good-byes to Camille & Leona. After they left my G-ma wasn't feeling too well so I offered to go to the grocery for her. That way she could get some rest. My friend John went with me and was a real gentleman, pushing the cart and loading the car up with groceries! We got everything on the list right except for my mixing up lettuce and cabbage!!!! Yeah and I made it to college how? lol Once we were done I dropped him off and met his lil doggie Riley who is the cutest! 
• I departed from Richmond back to my second home & was relieved to do so. Sunday was a very bad day for my mom, she isn't the same person anymore and its far from her fault but I can't handle it at times. Muncie is my get away and I'm sad to be leaving it next year!
